At Animal Hospital of Clemmons our team knows that you want to give your pet their very best shot at a long and healthy life, but as important as regular preventive care is for your pet's health, we also know that it can sometimes be difficult to manage these recurring expenses.
Our Pet Wellness Plans were created with optimal preventive care and cost savings in mind. Pet Wellness Plans for Clemmons dogs and cats 'bundle' all the annual preventive services your pet needs into 12 easy monthly payments, saving you money and helping your pet stay healthy and happy.
Our Pet Wellness Plans include all the preventive healthcare services that your dog or cat needs to give them their best shot at great long-term health.
Each Wellness Plan includes essential preventive care your pet needs, including twice-yearly wellness exams, core vaccinations, heartworm testing for dogs, and a full year of parasite prevention.
Wellness exams are a complete health checkup for your dog or cat. These routine exams allow our vets to diagnose and treat any developing health issues and check on your pet’s diet to ensure they’re getting enough daily nutrients.
Our vets believe that disease prevention is essential to maintaining your pet's long-term health. The core vaccinations included with our Pet Wellness Plans help to protect your beloved animals against a range of serious, often life-threatening conditions.
Sometimes pets can appear healthy, but the early signs of disease can lurk hidden within their bodies - sometimes with no obvious symptoms. That’s why our vets perform a comprehensive physical checkup on your pet, to help ensure they’re healthy inside and out.
Left untreated parasites can be deadly for our animal companions. Prevention provides the best protection for pets, which is why each Wellness Plan provides pets with a 12-month supply of flea and tick prevention, as well as heartworm prevention medication and testing with our plans for dogs.
If your dog or cat does become infected, fecal tests can help our vets to spot signs of intestinal parasites so that they can be treated as quickly as possible, before your pet becomes more seriously ill.
Below are a few of the common questions clients ask about our Pet Wellness Plans.
Wellness Plans and pet insurance policies both offer valuable benefits for your pet's health, but they are different.
Pet insurance and Wellness Plans cover different types of veterinary care. Wellness plans are designed to help manage preventative care costs, while pet insurance is typically intended to cover emergencies, accidents, or specific illnesses.
We offer Pet Wellness Plans for small dogs, medium dogs, large dogs, extra-large dogs, and cats.
We strongly suggest that you do. Our Pet Wellness Plans are designed to help ensure that your pet gets the routine care they need while saving you money on your pet's annual preventive care. You will also save 10% on many other veterinary products and services at Animal Hospital of Clemmons.
Wellness plans can be beneficial for all pets of all ages. Routine preventive care at a young age can help keep your pet in good shape into old age. In addition, when you sign your pet up as a puppy or kitten, their puppy/kitten vaccines are included in the monthly fee.
Wellness Plans can be customized based on specific health concerns for aging pets, to ensure they get the routine care seniors need. Wellness Plans for older pets include many of the same core services, as well as screening for various age-related diseases and disorders.
When you sign up for a Wellness Plan, we will enter your payment information (credit card) into a secure portal. You can choose a withdrawal date (between the 1st and 15th) that's best for you, and your card will be charged on that date every month.
If there is ever a problem with your card (e.g., expired, lost, or stolen) please let us know as soon as possible so we can update the information.
Yes, you can pay for the entire Wellness Plan when you sign up if that is your preference.
When you sign up multiple pets for Wellness Plans at the same time, you will only pay the $35 enrollment fee once.
If your pet passes away at any time during the 12 month commitment, we will cancel the plan.
Wellness plans cover the routine basics that all pets need (core vaccinations, heartworm prevention, flea prevention, etc.). In addition, you will receive 10% discount on any dental care your pet may need.
Yes! Your pet's Wellness Plan will renew automatically each year until you request that we cancel it.
Even in healthy animals, preventative and routine care can add up quickly.
Our Pet Wellness Plans offer you an easy-to-manage monthly payment option so that you know exactly what your core pet care will cost each month.
By spreading out the payments, Wellness Plans help avoid the problem of bigger bills each time you bring your pet into the vet.
